Use this glossary for a quick definition, then follow the linked guide when you need fitting or use instructions. Product names and community terms are not always used consistently across stores.

Body and community terms
Bottom growth: a term for genital growth associated with testosterone. Background and related questions.
FTM: female-to-male, a term some trans men and other people use for themselves. Preferences vary.
Trans masc: a term used by some people whose gender or presentation is masculine. It does not tell you which products or medical care someone wants.
T-dick: a name some people use for their genital anatomy, particularly following testosterone-related growth. Language guide.
Packing and bathroom equipment
Packer: a prosthetic worn to create a bulge under clothing. A soft packer is not automatically suitable for penetration.
Packing pouch or strap: support that helps hold a compatible packer in position. Wearing guide.
STP: stand-to-pee device. A cup or funnel directs urine through an outlet. Some designs also function as packers. STP overview.
Rod insert: a compatible insert that adds structure to a product designed to accept it. It is not a universal accessory for soft packers.
Toy construction and attachments
Pack-and-play: a design intended for packing and play, with construction suitable for both uses. How it works.
Dual-density: silicone layers with different firmness. Posable core: an internal component that holds an adjusted position. These describe separate features. Construction guide.
O-ring: the ring that holds a compatible toy in some harnesses. Flared base: a wider base that helps prevent a toy passing through an opening. Shape and intended use still matter. Ring fitting guide.
Insertable length: the portion intended for insertion, which may be shorter than total length. Diameter: width across. Circumference: distance around. Ask for clarification when a listing uses “girth” ambiguously.
Pump terms
Cylinder: the chamber placed around tissue. Internal dimensions and rim shape affect fit.
Release valve or control: the mechanism used to equalize pressure before removing a cylinder.
kPa: kilopascals, a pressure unit. A gauge reading is not a growth measurement or a safety guarantee. Gauge guide.
Engorgement: increased fullness associated with blood flow. A temporary post-pumping change does not establish permanent growth. Evidence guide.
