How to Clean Silicone Toys and Packers
Read the care instructions for the whole product before washing it. A silicone surface can surround a posable core, an electronic component, or another material that changes how it should be cleaned.

Routine washing
For a washable silicone toy, use warm water and a mild soap suitable for the product. Work around texture, the base, and any channels where residue can collect. Rinse thoroughly, then allow it to dry completely before storage.
For an STP, pay attention to the inside of the cup and the drainage channel. For a stroker, make sure the interior is clean and dry too. Follow the instructions for that shape; do not force a brush or other object into it.
If the product is rechargeable, follow its water-resistance rating and keep charging contacts dry as directed. Unplug it before cleaning. A silicone-covered vibrator does not have the same care requirements as a solid silicone packer.
Boiling is not a universal instruction
Only boil a product if its manufacturer specifically permits it. The same applies to dishwashers, bleach solutions, and other disinfection methods. Heat can damage internal parts even when the outside appears unchanged.
Routine washing and sterilization are different processes. A home washing method should not be described as making a toy sterile.
Sharing and switching uses
Clean between users and when changing body sites. Use a new, compatible barrier where appropriate, and follow sexual-health guidance for your situation. A barrier does not replace cleaning the product itself.

Inspect before storing
Check for tears, rough areas, or a surface that has changed. Stop using a damaged product and ask the manufacturer about it. Store a dry toy somewhere clean, away from sharp edges and excessive heat. Wash any pouch or harness according to its own instructions rather than treating the entire setup as one material.
